Scores and Standings 5/31

So who's bright idea was it for the game to start at 8 pm last night? I was asleep on my couch for the third Red Wings goal. Who's bright idea was it for Stanley Cup games to be played back to back? And just who's bright idea was it for tonight's game--on a friggin SUNDAY--to start at 8 pm? Gary Bettman has GOT to go. If this is what it takes to get the games on NBC, then fuck it, give me Versus. I guess instead of working on a reasonable schedule for the Stanley Cup Finals, Bettmen's priority is to ensure that a money-hemorrhaging team stays in an economically unviable area.

In other news, BoK was quoted as saying, "He is SO gross. Does Sidney Crosby not realize that he looks like a pre-pubescent little boy who can't grow a real beard?"

BREAKING NEWS: Gary Bettman has said "[Montreal] isn't going anywhere." (Concerning a sale of the Habs, though it appears he is dead-on about their immediate future prospects as well.)
Well that's a relief. Of course Gary Betttman isn't going to relocate a team that provides probably 33% of the money he needs to keep pumping into Phoenix.
